What I collect
When you contact me or I do work for you: your name, phone number, email address, the address of the job, details of the work, photos of the job, and payment records.
Why I use it
To reply to your enquiry, quote, book and carry out the work, send invoices and warranty certificates, take payment, and keep the business records the law requires. The lawful bases are taking steps to enter into a contract with you, performing that contract, and legal obligation (tax records).
Who I share it with
Only the services I need to run the business: my email provider, the website form service that passes your enquiry to me, my card payment provider (if you pay by card), my bank, and my accountant or HMRC where required. I never sell your information.
How long I keep it
Enquiries that don't go ahead are deleted within 12 months. Records of work and payments are kept for at least 6 years for tax purposes.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or object to how it's used, by emailing me. If you're unhappy with how I've handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
This website
This site doesn't use tracking or advertising cookies. It's hosted by Cloudflare and loads its font from Google Fonts, both of which may log your IP address to deliver the page.
